Then someone said we were put here by God or Buddha, Jesus or Siva to look after his other creations---the animals! Of course back then I was 12 or so and thought this was such a foolish notion and laughed it off. But now I know this is true. We have done enough to kill so many animals till they are extinct and damaged the natural environment till we ourselves the apex predators are in danger! Dogs and furry friends are angels sent by God (or whatever name you cal Him) to test us. If you don't wish to rear a pet, it is fine but do help other humans to help animals!
